Trouble's What You're In
Have you ever disappeared into a thought or a moment where nothing else exists? I keep feeling that that is what my life is becoming, a series of moments that turn into explosions of hypersensitivity. Sound and color are much more than what I used to allow myself to hear and see. Beauty in an individual context. No longer a part of the group think of what is and could be.
I don't know... I just love that there is something to wonder about...something to stare at and try to explain the pull to no one but myself...

beauty in the little things...
yael naim:new soul
My Mom sent me a text about yael before she even knew the song was used for the mac air commercial. She saw her on tv5. The cute part is actually saying teh veh sank.
I watched a Julie Delpy movie last night. I laughed. I see the me I used to be in the neurosis.
I think I might play some feist, keren ann and camille. Then throw some yael into the mix and remember Paris. It's been too long.
It's the little things... It's a rooftop. A stand full of fruit. It's just the everyday.
canta brasil
ivan lins with djavan:somos todos iguais nesta noite
My Mom hipped me to Canta Brasil:The Great Brasilian Songbook forever ago. I fell in love with it. I've had the tape, cd and somehow, ummm, found the mp3. I love Somos Todos Iquais Nesta Noite. It's probably the only phrase that I know in Portuguese (that's a lie, but it's the easiest one to tell).
In English the phrase seems to still be wishful thinking... We are all equal tonight... Really...
Even in Brasil, are we?... I don't know...
The compilation feels like the Brasilian version of one of those NOW cds from, like '93, but at some point shouldn't being hip even be overrated...
Like what you like... Isn't that the best part of being here?
I don't know if Brasil will the new France for me but... I do know that it's all about Brasil in '08!!!!!
What does any of this have to do with a building reflected in a glass covered angel's wings? I don't know. Does it really matter?
